Founded from an idea sparked in 2017 and officially established as an LLC in 2025, Micha’s Wellness Bar is a mobile wellness brand created to nourish and support pregnant women with real ingredients. After earning 1st place at Startup Tucson’s 2024 Accelerator Showcase, MWB continues to lead with simple, accessible wellness rooted in community.
We offer fresh‑pressed juices, immunity shots, and protein bars designed to support energy, focus, and whole‑body nourishment during pregnancy and beyond. Behind the Bar with Marissa Amezcua
Meet Marissa Amezcua: Founder of Micha’s Wellness Bar, a mobile wellness brand created from my own journey of trying to stay nourished, focused, and grounded while balancing work, life, and growth. I started dreaming up MWB in 2017 when I realized how hard it was for busy women, especially moms and moms‑to‑be, to access real, intentional nourishment that supports their bodies and their health goals.In 2024, I earned 1st place at Startup Tucson’s Accelerator Showcase, a milestone that affirmed the need for wellness that is simple, accessible, and rooted in community. Today, I’m proud to serve pregnant women with fresh‑pressed juices, immunity shots, and protein bars designed to support energy, focus, and whole‑body wellness.Everything I create is guided by one intention: por tu salud -for your health, your strength, and the next generation you’re nurturing.Her love for intentional, safe, and wellness-focused juices started back in 2015. Inspired by her late grandfather, who lovingly planted mangoes and tamarindo plants in Armería, Colima, México, Marissa carries forward his legacy of nourishing the community. Just as he shared his harvest to support those in need, MWB is built on the same foundation: giving back, creating access to real ingredients, and celebrating culture through flavor.
